Today's market value — for loans, refinancing, inheritance or division of an estate.
For a valuation, the surveyor prepares a report after inspecting and measuring the home. It contains a brief technical description and notes maintenance needs — without the detailed investigation a condition report requires.
When setting the value we also weigh location, view, sunlight, public transport and proximity to shops, schools and other local amenities. A valuation describes today's market value.
