Independent inspection
Mandatory inspection of moisture protection, wet rooms and airtightness.
Independent inspection is required for moisture protection in new buildings and in renovations of wet rooms that require a permit, and for airtightness in new homes and cabins over 150 m².
The inspection covers both quality assurance and the results of design and execution. The inspecting firm confirms that the contractor has routines for the area and that they have been followed — documented with checklists, cf. SAK10 chapter 10.
Design must comply with the building regulations (TEK10/TEK17), and the work on site with drawings and specifications. We spot-check the production documents on site and verify consistency between documentation and the work carried out.
