Defect claim report
A professional assessment of the defects claimed after a purchase.
A defect claim report is essentially a condition report, but the task is to assess the issues being claimed after a property has changed hands.
The surveyor inspects on the basis of an agreed mandate and reviews the available technical documentation. Legal aspects are not assessed. If a negative deviation is found, the financial consequences are calculated from the cost of bringing it up to the reference level.
